Just like with any other vacation planning, we'll identify what you like to do and see in Stockholm and plan your session around it, whether it's a particular area you'd like to explore or an activity/sight to experience.
In this particular case, the family fell in love with the views from Skeppsholmen island so we centred the session around its many beautiful corners. The little boy also really wanted to experience a boat ride so after all the island exploring we hopped on the boat towards Djurgården.

Stockholm must-do in summer
We caught the boat ride just perfectly as the sun was really low on the horizon and created that typical orange and brown hues that always add to the overall nostalgic summer feeling.
I let the family enjoy Stockholm views from the water without disturbing their flow and just documented the little boy's wonder and excitement as his parents hugged him and let him wander around.
I also took the opportunity to capture a few photos of the surroundings for the family which I included in the gallery as a gift
FINAL STOP - DJURGÅRDEN HARBOR
After we got off the boat I took the family down the off-beaten path into a harbor that isn't that known but it's where all the sun is hiding in the evening. We spent a few silly moments together before we said goodbye.
